Website Launch and the Road Ahead

Straight empty road through open countryside at sunset

Today marks an important step forward for The Neurodivergence Project. After months of steady work behind the scenes, the charity’s website has now officially launched. It feels like a quiet but meaningful moment – the point where plans shaped privately begin to take form in the open.

The website now brings together the first features supporting the development of the charity.
The resource hub has begun to take shape – a practical space where information, guidance, and signposting can be found in one place, and where individuals can also submit useful resources from across the United Kingdom to help it grow into something collaborative and grounded in lived experience.

Our online shop is now open – a space that will not only offer merchandise but will also be used to promote upcoming events, sell tickets, and support fundraising activities. A small but significant step in building sustainability and creating opportunities for people to get involved.

Alongside this, work has been underway to set up Infoodle, a CRM system that will help manage communication, administration, and organisation more effectively. Bringing this system in place will help underpin future programme delivery and strengthen the charity’s infrastructure as it grows.

We are grateful to Doug Stewart, who provided a free consultation supporting the early development of the Business Plan, Executive Summary, and Fundraising Strategy. His guidance came at a crucial stage and helped shape early direction and confidence.

The Awards for All grant application continues to progress, forming part of the charity’s wider approach to securing funding to build a sustainable foundation. The charity is also applying to additional trusts and seeking support from grant-making organisations to enable future programme delivery, and approaches or introductions are gratefully appreciated at this early stage.

With the website now launched, focus turns to what comes next:

  • Reaching out to individuals interested in supporting or fundraising
  • Building partnerships with organisations and community groups
  • Continuing programme development
  • Widening conversations with potential funders and collaborators

At this early stage, every offer of support makes a significant difference. Time, skills, contacts, professional insight, fundraising efforts, or simply sharing the message – each contribution strengthens the foundation being built.

The trustees and volunteers have already given so much to guide the development of the charity, offering their time, expertise, and belief. Their involvement sits at the heart of reaching this point.

The launch of the website is not a conclusion – it is the beginning of a new chapter. A steady step into visibility, collaboration, and collective purpose. There is a quiet sense of momentum beginning to gather.

We look forward to what comes next, and to welcoming others to walk alongside us as this journey continues to unfold.
