Clear guidance, accountability, and confidence in how we work

If you need the terms & conditions in a different format, or if you have questions, just get in touch
It matters that what we do is transparent and straightforward. This policy guides our work and supports the people who trust us. It outlines the principles we follow and will continue to evolve as we grow.
Buying something online is a small moment of trust. This page explains how our shop works, what you agree to when placing an order, and how we handle practical things like payments, fulfilment, and delivery. These terms apply to purchases made through our online shop.
“The charity”, “we”, “our”, and “us” refers to The Neurodivergence Project, a registered CIO in England & Wales. “You” refers to the person placing the order. These terms take effect when you place an order. They sit alongside our Returns, Refunds & Event Bookings Policy.
1. Our products
Made-to-order items
Most items are printed especially for you through our fulfilment partners (Teemill and Printful). These products are created on demand. Colours may vary slightly from screen images.
Stocked items
At times we may sell limited stock directly.
Circular products
Some garments include a QR code allowing you to return them at the end of life for remanufacturing. This is separate from our returns policy.
2. Placing an order
When you place an order you confirm the information provided is accurate and you are authorised to use the chosen payment method. You will receive an order confirmation email once your order is accepted. If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you and refund any payment.
3. Prices and payment
All prices shown are in GBP.
Prices include VAT where applicable. If the charity becomes VAT registered in the future, VAT will be charged in line with current legislation. Delivery costs are shown at checkout. Payment is taken at the point of order.
4. Shipping and delivery
Delivery location
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom.
Estimated delivery time
Most items are made to order. Production and delivery times shown are estimates. Delivery may vary due to production capacity, carrier delays, and seasonal demand. A dispatch email will be sent once your order has been shipped, with tracking where available.
Address accuracy
Please ensure your delivery address is correct. If an order cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address, the parcel may be returned to the fulfilment facility. Once the correct address is confirmed, we can arrange re-shipment. Delivery charges may apply.
5. Cancellations and returns
Your rights depend on the type of product.
Made-to-order items
Made-to-order products are classed as personalised goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You cannot cancel or return these items for change of mind, preference, or size selection. If they arrive damaged, defective or mislabelled, we will replace or refund them.
Stocked items
For stocked items, you have 14 days from the day after delivery to let us know you wish to return, and a further 14 days to send the item back. Refunds are made when items are received in original condition.
Full details can be found in our Returns, Refunds & Event Bookings Policy.
6. Faulty or damaged items
If something arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible. We may ask for photos so we can understand the issue. If the product is faulty, misdescribed or damaged, we will cover return postage and replace or refund the item.
7. Lost parcels
If your order hasn’t arrived, please check the tracking link, delivery address, and local delivery points. If it is still missing, contact us with your order number and we will support you with the next steps. Where tracking shows an item as delivered, we will review this on a case-by-case basis.
8. Events and bookings
Purchases for events, challenges or activities are classed as leisure services with a fixed date under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. These bookings are generally non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or significantly changed. If you cannot attend, please contact us to discuss possible options.
9. Fulfilment partners
We work with Teemill and Printful to produce and deliver made-to-order items. Your contract is with The Neurodivergence Project, even where fulfilment is handled by our partners. If a product becomes unavailable, we may use an equivalent replacement. If we cannot fulfil the order, you will receive a refund.
10. Privacy and data
We use your personal information only for the intended purpose of processing your order, providing customer support, and fulfilling your purchase. For made-to-order items, your address details are securely shared with our fulfilment partners for delivery purposes.
Personal information is retained only as long as necessary for these purposes, in line with our Privacy Policy. You can read the policy for full details of how we collect, use and protect your data.
11. Legal information
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any legal disputes relating to your purchase may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. Your statutory rights are not affected. If any part of these terms becomes invalid, the remaining terms continue to apply. We may update these terms to reflect changes in law or our services.
